        Hi all,
i’ve been using the dinsmore waggler attachment for styrofoam floats, & find them excellent with a bit of fine tuning. I want to try the loaded diawa vaned wagglers, which have a swivel eye. So what is the best way to mount these. I’ve looked at the steve ringer method (on youtube) but it makes no sense to me! Any advice greatly appreciated.
        Regards Peter

I use plasic float stops 2 above the float 3 below, I usually attach the float itself to a clip swivel so I can swop it or change depth easily.
If you are really going to hammer it you can double up the line too. Hook lengths will be on loop to loop unless there are big chucks in which case I use a small swivel on the hook link.
As for floats I use the drennan 5g loaded plastic pellet wags, on 4lb line I can just about cast them as far as 8mm pellets will go on the catty.
I f the wind is bad or I have a long feature to hit then the Cralusso ones cast very well, I can over cast the horizon with the heavy one!!

            Thanks John,
i’ve been trying the float stops, which steve ringer uses, but he ties a “twizzel loop”?????
Don’t ask me, talk about mystified!
            Regards Peter.

Try the Preston Innovations kits as featured here:

              http://wrong-angles.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/20-september-2012-pollawyn-white-acres.html

Though I do now slide another float stop onto the line first so there are 2 above the float and 3 below it. The newish Preston Innovations Dura pellet wagglers with the disc are very good too!

Peter, any float stops will do, if your float dislodges them just put an extra one on, the lower ones get the hammer, the ones between the float and hook. Twizzeling a loop just gives a bit of a buffer for the strike to prevent crack offs. I tend to use the reel clutch for this, I always set it slack. The more you pay for your reels by and large the better the clutch is.
If you cant get your head around the loop just tie a normal un twizzled one as it provides extra strength to the rig as well as the cushion effect.

A a “twizzel loop”????? is realy easy. Hold the line between your thumb and index finger in both hands about 8 inches apart.Twist the thumb and index finger at the end of the line and it will twist together forming a loop at the end.Just mess about with some old line and you will realise how easy it is.

I think the twizzle loup complicates it…I use the preston waggler attachments with 3 stops below and two above and a loup to loup with the hook length… If you leave a gap between the top and bottom stops so it leaves a gap for the float to move this can help
