moosemanThanks mate, are there tomorrow? Recon its gonna be rock hard all over tomorrow if the forecast is right. Dead windy there even on normal days.

TF_mp.miloNo,i dont get there much these days, but a lot of the lads i fish with go there. If its that windy, ive had a few results flicking a bomb 2ft off the far bank in the deeper water with the maggot or corn.Trying to fish light and get good presentation on the pole is bloody hard work in that wind.lol

moosemanJust made up my bomb rod for tomorrow. So yes thanks that seems the way to go. Last year I did well in the winter just pouring in preditor red liquidised with a little prawn and catching on either single mag or a tiny piece of red prawn on the hook. Placed most times doing that, give it a go but only feed liquid by pole cup, hardly any particle at all. Are you out tomorrow?

TF_mp.miloYes Im fishing pikeys league at willinghurst for my sins.
Have you tried liquidising corn and mixing it with carp vader predetor plus there, cloud hangs for ages. -

moosemanYeah, it good. Used to fish that neck of the wods alot 5 years ago when i lived in croydon. But moved to the isle of wight then and now fish dryad, long lake , hordle, back arun and orchard mainly. Plus the club matches on the isle, we’ve got some good waters over here and some of the guys are pretty reasonable anglers but me and a few others travel over the mainland and fish the opens most weekends but along the south coast commercials mainly. Where do you go mainly? I used to do Gold and Willow a hell of a lot before i moved, used to fish for leatherhead.

moosemanLovely bit of fishing there, what strench are you fishing. I used to go to aldermaston mill and a calpac runcalled padworth mill. It’s great plenty of chub, barbel and some monster river roach. It was all hemp and caster in those days or rolling a bit of meat. Good luck if it fishes you should love it. (proper fishing)

moosemanCheeky git,
No we’ve decided that we are of to BA aftr all, but lets hope its to boost the isle of wights economy and not pay it back to the mainland boys. Won’t be out next week as i’m picking up my son on Sunday for over the Xmas break. But all us useless pole anglers will be there on Steves Xmas open LOL. Good luck on Sunday don’t get pulled in, those river fish might have to much muscle for you.
