A lot of fisheries have 50lb net limits so short nets are sufficient. I use 2.5mtr nets for F1s/silvers

i fish a few summer 4-5m edge p/wag venue matches – 4m would be ideal – particularly as they like to torpedo to try and get out of he net.

However, apart from deep bank venues cannot see any real point – if a venue has a weight net limit as most do – can’t see many fishery owners allowing 4m nets to have a higher net limit as it would be a real pain to monitor and some people would be potentially encouraged to try and up their normal 3m limit.

I like this. Fishery owners continue to reduce net limits. More nets required in the same amount of space. Tackle industry provides smaller nets to fit the available space. I wonder if the fishery owners will………….
Ultimate conclusion 1 fish per ladies pop sock.
