This Saturday was the Final round of the League, and all was to play for there were 9 Anglers who on the day had a chance of walking away with the 2013 title. One slip up by those at the top and the chasing pack would be on them. Leading the charge for the title was the well known Barston Draw Bag Snowy Ashington along with Kevin Wright. Snowy was not to let the pressure get to him and after drawing yet another flyer,Peg 20 produced the goods, took the section win and the Title. WELL DONE DRAW BAG.
After a lot of adding up and dividing it turns out that over the 6 matches the average per Angler was 30lb which I think is pretty good for this time of year.
I would like to thank all that took part and the extras that stood in when places were available, you have all made this a successful League and I look forward to running it next year and hopefully it will be bigger and better.
