        We have a club match on the small match lake on Sunday, any body fished this lake recently !! any help on baits or methods used would be greatly appreciated..cheers. 🙂 🙂

          we fished it two years ago so baits etc not upto date but its 99% pole for various carp shaped like an ovel polo mint far bank reachable by pole on most pegs and watch out for golf balls thats how i remember it hope im right age does that to you about 50lb won our match

                22 pegs on the lake Pegs 1 and 22 end pegs with loads of water Pegs 11 and 13 are sort of on the end of the island and are good pegs also. bait wise I would suggest it will be pellet, er pellet and er oh yes pellet. Feed 4mm fish eiether 6mm expander on the hook or 6 or 8 mm hard banded. Traditional canal style fishing margins, track and far over. I have found in recent weeks that where the track starts to rise to far bank is a good catching line on the crease keep an eye as to where the fish are in the water as you can do some serious damage if they come up in the water.
