Bartons bit quiet at moment, the place that seems to be fishing is the coalpier to blockhouse stretch of beach, with quite a few thornback caught over the last couple of weeks.

                Razor Edge

squeaky i set a small longline along the minster sea wall few weeks back using range of baits mainly shop brout lug had 2 thornbacks about 8lbs – 9lbs each 5 whitings (fair size not the usall pins) small keepable school bass bout 2lbs and about 5 bootlaces

caught rays on frozen sandeels penneled, whiting on lug not tipped and bass on a squid head

                  hop that helps

but north parts of island still producing nice bass if you know where 🙂
