Whilst I have every sympathy with BASS’s motives to raise size limits etc, I don’t know what science is involved in their statement. From personal experience, I caught more undersized school bass of the beach last year than I have for many a year.

My own belief is that the premium for wild bass prices is ridiculous. Perhaps if only farmed bass were available to the market then it would encourage more people to invest in farms as the prices rose.
