Carp Decaff and a couple of skimmers its nice to see it fish so well every peg was catching ( some more than others granted !)The place aint over stocked and they dont just jump on the hook you have to work for every bite down there in winter.

Good to see the weights picking up. Its local for me but tbh the state of the car park etc has being a major turn off and I know I’m not the only one. Dick tells me that the council are to act on this – perhaps they have already, if so its a major step in the right direction, I would really like to see the place take off.

Also I believe that Vince is to develop the snake lakes which would be a popular move.

do they use both lakes as the number of anglers pick up for the match on sunday morning.as you no i cant fish sunday mornings because of joe and is football and one week in two i work till 12.00.but would like to fish it sunday afternoon. or is it better on saturdays ? whats are the best pegs this time of year jamie wants to no mate.

Yeah both lakes Steve if theres enough book on, anyone intending on going book on at Kerrs Angling in Ossett. Pegs wise 20,21 or 2,3,4 they are quite consistent pegs but fish can turn up anywhere

Once your fishing it Pig you forget all about the motorway, A bloke on peg 2 today had 25 carp proper carp 3-7lbers and if your not catching you can always go have a nap on one of the old matresses !
