TF_squattMine has to be Tricast feeder rods. Legend 3500 & 5000. Quality British kit. The 5000 is an awesome chucking rod, perfect for the river and Holland. Many thanks to rocketfeeder for his tip about usind the Dutchmaster no.7 tip also. All my other feeder rods have been Daiwa but the range of tips sometimes lets the rods down, especially on rivers or towing venues.

TF_PaddyForgot to say Drennan Peacock Chrystal Wagglers as well which we have used at Shatterford to plunder the Roach in the cold months. I really like the Collar and additional bags of bristle tips that can be got, which will also interchange with the loaded Chrystal wagglers – great thinking by Drennan.
The longest black fine Chrystal tip is well good and all come in a good variety of sizes. -

Couldn’t agree more; i’ve had ’em all from Preston, Maver, shakespear and all Daiwas’ up to the Tourney but the Tri-cast is the dogs’ very light and so cheap.
So good, it tempted me to try one of their holdalls but not impressed with that; one zip and shoulder sling stitching knackered already after only three months use. -
