There seems to be such a variation when buying different batches of the same brand, it is a nightmare to find a decent consistently textured pellet!

When I do find one I tend to buy about 20 bags of them. I end up buying a different brand every time as the previous ones have changed.

I just use expanders on the pole as I cannot seem to get anywhere near the same number of bites on pre prepared tubbed soft hookers.

IMO GOT hookers, and not just they sponsor me!
The white hookers are absolutely deadly especially in winter and spring.
My personal favorite is the liver 6mm.~clap

Well impressed with the Yorkshire Baits.
Used them when fishing up in the water and thrashing the rig on the surface , they go softer off course once immersed in the water but they still held on well.

I have switched over to the ringers next generation expanders.
                            they are different class

                            wacky

specialist baits.B.A.M ( bad ass madras )Monster crab and Fish meal. 4m and 6m.all have good texture. But belive it or not they all come from the 2 same pellet company’s. just look at the texture, tighter the better.

The sonu baits ready made are very good, but i bought 15 kilo of skretting expander 3 years ago, they are a creamy yellow colour, cant fault them, must admit the 15 kilo i bought come in all different sizes, but im happy with that cause you can change pellet size in a flash, i pump them with gelatine and they are the best ive come across.

I’ve used the VDE jellets before and never had a problem with them and they stay on.
