Best way to tidy up Nicks in pole sections?

  What is the best way to tidy nicks in the ends of pole sections? I was going to try a wet and dry emery board but thought I would ask first.

  If its a couple of mm hack saw it off and sand it down.

  yep, big sanding block is best. Dont cut it, sand it.
