Nahhh mate you gotta be joking – the weather got even worse and enthusiasm went down the pan a bit, still had some decent fishing though. Kinda glad to be back now though!

I can’t help much with the peg numbers rowdy,

But we were there last sunday,usiing pegs 68 to 81.

Lad on peg 68,emptied it,with a new club trecord 168-15,using the straight lead,with a donkey choker over catapulted loose pellet.

In the match,I ended up third,with 35-00from peg 78,using drennan cage feeder,with soaked expanders,with meat on the hook.

Second place was peg 79,using g/b feeder,and maggot.he weighed in 44-odd.

chopped worm always works well.Just dont fish to far out.There catching very close in at the momment

banded 14mm pellet on the bomb over loose fed 8mm pellet is a banker and then choppy and caster down the margins if you have some space but make sure you have enough bait with you. ive got 150 peg trade match on there on friday so will let you know how it fishes.

As alibongo has said,it is any large pellet,from 11mm,up to full on 25mm……..

I do believe he was using the 11mm pellet,drilled and hair rigged………..

can you use any feed pellets or just theirs

You can use whatever pellets you want…..

But you are not allowed cat/dog meat,and restricted to 1 tin of luncheon meat……

No Boilies,bread,or any floating baits……..

when i was fishing the fisho mania match the week before i was catching 150lb to 200lb in 5 hours shallow on pellet and 6m feeding corn and hemp.

I was there the weekend after,and had a mare to be honest…..

Couldn’t get a bite shallow,nothing on paste,and nothing in the margins………

Caught all mine,bar one,at about 30 mtr with the feeder,and bomb,using meat on the hook.

Last one was caught on the top 3 with 10 minutes to go…..

i won a match here on saturday, give me a call and i’ll tell you what i did. I had 57lbs, next had 29lbs.
