TF_yorkshirehave to dissagree with you on KC being big and well stocked. We traveled some distance to visit this shop, it is a small shop, with a fair amount of stock, the staff where a middle aged lady who had very limited knowledge of angling products and a spotty teenager, our selection of items came to £102.37, we asked for small discount and where refused and had to pay £102.37!
we drove onto beckenham?? here we found a very well stocked shop, good staff and 10% discount. -

porkyOakwood Angling is very well stocked with the added bonus of that the staff actually know what they are talking about.
Close to Cockfosters underground train station wich is on the Picadilly line, if my memory is correct. -

There you go Yorkshire, you went on the wrong day. Might be worth a phone call next time to synchronise your visit with the shift of somebody who know’s what they are talking about. ~think

no, but they price match at my local liddles so
in a sense they offer even more, asda offer a price match, and wilkinsons offer a 30 day no quibble refund even if the item is used, some of this tat angling shops sell you need a 30 day no quible guarantee. -

Daddy BParticipantTo be fair, KC is probably best avoided on a Wednesday if you want advice on your purchases, being a match day. I made the schoolboy error of forgetting this one day this Winter when I wanted a load of quality maggots, and drove the 20 miles from home in mid-afternoon only to find the shop was closed.
