          Alrite m8 the bay malton matches on there recently have been dominated by pellet across both up in the water and on the deck. 4mm and 6mm pellets can both work on the hook. For on the bottom feed micros + 4mms with kinder pot regularly (don’t put much in at once), for shallow use a blob rig and fire a few 4mms into the reeds. You will see the fish knocking the reeds when they are there, so put the blob rig next to where you can see them. You will need to set up two swims across and switch between them to keep catching. You will also need quite heavy gear to get them away from the snags (0.18 and purple hydro is what i use)
          Down the edge paste will probably work, although it has been very iffy this year and has never really kicked in. Edge will produce late on. Silver fish may play a role on saturday, which i presume is the roles royce match, as most of the pegs will be in and the fishing difficult. Worm and castor or maggot/castor up in the water both work and provide useful backup to the carp.
          Recent match weights have been between 40 and 55lb winning. Last two results were;
          1st 42lb peg 25, 2nd 34lb peg 52, 3rd 30lb peg 35.
          1st 55lb peg 43, 2nd 54lb peg 8, 3rd 46lb peg 41, 4th 45lb peg 58.
          On the day 30lb will probably be a good weight. Good luck.

              going for silvers shallow with caster or maggott from the off and feeding tight across then waiting for signs is a good plan imo.
              Pretty much every peg has 20lb + of silvers in it.
              If the carp are in your peg you will catch but a LOT will struggle going all out for carp
