I was there yesterday (weds).
When are you going..!
Its going to change now we have had some frosts.
Forget the pellet wag now..its going to be starting on the bomb with the worm while feeding the edge and looking for any signs.
Afternoons are best with fish moving in late on to corn & meat over casters or 4mm expanders & caster.
Be prepared for five or six lumps in the last hour for
35..lb..stick with it.
The lake is 50 permanent pegs, the best at the moment are any thirties low twenties and the ususal 9 /10/ 13/..2 & 4 can also do it.
Also best breakfast for miles.

cheers manc…going at the weekend. yeah i was thinling the same about the wag but didn’t know wether to start on bomb or feeder. do they come right down thw side in the last hour or is it like four or five meters…and did you use pellet on the hook or corn

Tip..I would start on the bomb..chuck nowt in ..have a cast right to the far bank for first ten mins or so with big worm..then try a small cage feeder with caster in..
Keep feeding steady down the side tight to the bank with spall expanders / casters…dont worry if its only 18 inches deep.
Keep having a dob in the edge with the pole with meat or corn or 6mm expander.
They will settle down now we have had some frost in the week.
If its not too cold the night before it will fish ok.
I hope you dont draw next to someone who sprays bait all over.
It will kill it for 3 pegs each way. Good luck.. Jim.
