Silkworm for me, in 4, 6 and 8lbs depending on fish size.

I wouldn’t use it. Cuts fishes mouths like cheese wire which is why it has been banned on lots of waters.

Waveney, agree there are a couple out there that would, also some line as well. Next time you have a block of cheese in the fridge try sliceing it with normal line and then with some soft braid ~think

Would not say braid is banned on a lot of waters?, maybe braided mainline is for fish saftey incase you get snapped up but not as a hooklink/hair.

I’ll give it a try teabag. Surely for any given b/s braid is going to be thinner isn’t it?

If not, then it has moved on a lot since I last bought any.

Braid is banned from most fisheries for a reason and that’s because it damages fish,it should never be used end off, there’s no reason whatsoever why you should need to use it especially when fishing the method~naughty if you need to think about using braid as a hook length then your obviously doing something wrong.

Wouldn’t use it. As others have said it acts like cheesewire.
