The latest qualifier for the BWS Champs was held at Boddington on Saturday 3rd 2010.
The match was on pegs 33 to 82. I must thank Ian Coxon for drawing me peg 34 (Absolute flyer..!!)
In fact it was so poor in A section myself, Steve and Phil Ringer spent the best part of 5 hours either practicing casting or reading the news paper; which actually seemed to improve Phils success rate (Read paper; tip goes round, must have been a tabloid news paper though as he only caught a couple of fish)

So here are the latest qualifiers.

        A Section. Anthony Brooker. Peg 40. 25lbs 4oz
        B Section. Mark Jennings. Peg 48. 52ils 8oz
        C Section. Richie Hull. Peg 54. 69lbs 12oz
        D Section. Kevin Wright. Peg 72. 68lbs 8oz
        E Section. Nicky Dean. Peg 74. 121lbs 12oz

Next round is at Clattercote on Saturday 31st July
Draw at the Cross Tree pub in Byfield at 09:00
        Fish 11:00 – 16:00

Breakfast in the pub from 07:45 as usual

Thanks for a good turn out and al the usual help

Probably fished better today due to the fact there would have been a wind on and the amount of bait that went in the day before.

Thats what we thought mate all the bait the day before had bought them in
i done my first ton in a match 🙂 and it was so close to a
                  Double ton
The wind was coming right to left towards the dam wall
The tip you gave me about the method feeder worked for my mate he was struggling but
Then swapped to the method and ended up with 97lb
