38 won yesterday peg 23 about 20 f1s red maggot.i was second 33 pound peg 9 again on red maggot 12f1s and 2 mirror carp,on the snake.willows ok but if you dont have proper fish in front of you feeding you catch bits.pellet and maggot on willow.bit of corn to try and tempt a better fish when the bits are doin your head in

Decent weights finally, I might go tomorrow instead of Blundells, I guess snake and willow will be in, snake was maggot last time i was there 2 weeks ago but they will start moving onto pellet at some point. Willow is a great lake, you never know whats going to come along next. I fish pellet into deep water and up against island then maggot at 6/7m for silvers which can be anything from small roach to 4lb ide.

i won match off willow sunday peg 3 with 37pound on maggot not a blip in sight. guy on peg 11 at the other end maggot and pellet everywhere he dropped in he got bits. and i had the same problem the week before off peg 10.16metres strikin pellet off all the time with shit fish 2 f1s turned up on trot. then back 2 the shit fish.like dr kenny says if this starts happenin you might as well fish 6-8metres on the maggot and keep havin a drop long hopin the better fish switch on

was well impressed yesterday with my first visit to brookside those f1s where the biggest i have caught on a snake lake ever,i know i drew a flyer but i just fished red maggot all match and fed more than i have fed for 3 months lol
they came really strong about 3.00 oclock at 12.5 metres straight in front just as the shelf goes up but andy you have to fish ultra fine and i used belters with stylls in a 4×10 and still missed loads of bites those f1s are wise little buggers in there lift and drop all the time and re lay your rig all the time,it was the best days fishing in ages and glad i made the trip and you always draw a flyer andy so job done lol

well done gareth on the win.micky tells me you fish the oaks got fisho on there so when the time comes a bit of advice would be welcome

no probs stu i usually get a lot of phone calls for fisho and ill tell you no bull shit get my number of andy bennett and give us a ring and see me when you draw as ill be there as i have a ticket as well think we are using the new lakes this year so there will be 5 lakes in so quite a few different methods to be aware of on the day
