I got mine in december and so far i only have praise for it. Its light, rigid and very responsive. Its as stiff as my G10 at 14.5m but i think it goes slightly at 16m compared to the G10 but i haven’t had them side by side, Its definately lighter. The finish is second to none and glides through the hands and the power match kits are brilliant, strong and light. The wraps around the joints make breaking down while playing fish easy as the ends keep their shape and it doesn’t fall apart like my Airity did. The mini extensions are very handy too. My only gripe was the lack of spare no4’s as the Z9 ones are £110, but the Z7 no4’s are only £55 and feel slightly stronger but a little heavier.

As above – well pleased with mine so far.

thanks for replys lads, i have seen in local tackle shop just haven’t put together yet, going to take proper look weekend and try against a few other poles same price bracket. I like the idea of power match kits, don’t like seperate power kits on poles end up not using them, also don’t do lot of “proper carp fishin mainly f1 and small match size carp. Yes that would be my only gripe not having spare no.4s but would order some. What price would you expect me to be paying lads? cheers

The problem with the Z9 is that you just know there is a Z10 around the corner.

I bought the Z9 to replace my G995, but i’ve had a G10, Airity, Aspire pro, Gis12 absolute, Maver 481 over last few years.
