TF_craigmStill loving it, had fish up to low doubles with doubled no8 preston and half lengths of black hydro with no problems. Pole is much stronger than i thought at first, i’m quite heavy handed and have given a few of the sections a bang here and there and all is still well. ~clap

TF_Fred DavisPTB as stiff if not stiffer, less tip bounce, feels lighter or should I say better balanced, and is around £600 cheaper with a better spares package nuff said, I have a couple of mates who have them one actually went in to buy an airity came out with the browning said it blew the airity away!Nuff said

TF_paulDBest pole ive ever had (and ive had most of them) by a long way and worth £500 more. i wont be selling this one unless a Browning do a Z11 !
Surprised you can’t find one PTB. I know shops don’t like stocking dear poles but any shop can get one from browning. would not worry about spares as everything ive ordered has come in less than a week any they don’t break easily anyway !!

TF_Fred DavisPTB it’s exactly like Ultima line, the browning and Ultima products are imo superb but retailers have had problems in the past be it an inadequacy to build up good retailer liason, reliability of product, back up service, spares or sourcing supply etc, reputations are easily lost when companies don’t listen however when there is a turn around it takes time to rebuild retailer and consumer product confidence, when speaking to tackle shops I can quite easily understand there predicament they have on there shelves tried and trusted products so why risk money (which is tight) on new product. The days when shops like leslies of luton which had a complete range of poles and tackle from every manufacturer have well and truly gone, shops tend to specialise, to set up a contract with most companies requires an investment by the tackle shop to spend a few thousand pounds. As I said money is tight and some say why risk it especially when they may be struggling to break even.

There is a shop in Bolton that i got my no4’s from that sells the Z9. They have a shop and online store, unsure where the shop is but the website is :- http://www.simplyfishingtackle.co.uk
Contact them through the website and he’ll ring you back, i think his name is Andy ?? he’s a sound kid and open to a bit of bartering. -

Bri62ParticipantJust took delevery of my Z9 (yet too use it apart from back garden)i got the pro package 18m and 10 tops just wondering if there is a problen with the z9 no 4 section as everyone i talk to tend to go for the z7 4 sect is this because its cheeper ie z7 = £50 z9 = £110 or because its better. If the latter i am finding it strange that the z7 out-performs the z9 as it shouldn’t really be the case.
PS love the pole btw -

AlexParticipantThe z7 number 4 is stronger but also heavier. unless bagging up short, the z9 no.4 is fine.

Bri62ParticipantMy first outing with my Z9 and the number 6 setion failed playing a carp lost everything so not so happy atm must have been a fault on the section but cant see browning replacing the top 3 4,5 and 6 section.
I am covered by my insurance but will they pay for a manufacturing fault? -
