can fish see the hook length knot ?

i use hook lenths a lot but a lot of people dont like to use them as they think fish can see the knot what do you think ? thanks

obviously it depends on conditions (how clear the water is) and the diameter of the line, and carpers will tell you they can see the line (which is why they pin it to the deck and match the lake bed with it)
personally i think if your using thin line they cant see it as you wouldnt get liners…i mean why would they swim into it if they can see it???

How do they know it’s line? Do they have an in-built fear of line? Yesterday at gold valley I was using 6lb sensor hook length on the pellet waggler & they were taking it like the method!
