~think ~think ~think Well as we all expected it fished dire for this the first of the Thursday matches.The water was gin clear,and the result confirms its condition.
1st…Brian Wallin(Wally)…1 lb 6oz.(pole,maggot)
2nd…Oleary Junior………….15oz.
3rd…Don Garnish……………10oz.
Obviously the Bream did not show on any of the hot spots,and small roach and Perch were the order of the day.Wally was fishing the “Half Mile Tree” end,young Oleary in the channel,and the youngster Don G managed his “bulging” net on the bend.
Jimmy Archer has assured me that it will fish better next Thursday,so as i trust him with my life,i will be there champing at the bit…lol.

AND SO BEGINS OUR RIVER SEASON…BRING IT ON..MTB~clap ~clap ~clap ~clap

Glad that I have the River Yare to fish in. Everyone had a lot more than the winner and I had one roach that would probably have won the match on its own, definitely it would have pushed 2nd into third!!
