Ive been looking at boxes for about 8months now,and i thought id settled on the space station compact but after close examination of the footplate operation and the delay of the stock i have cancelled my order.I must now have a look at the rive but fear i will have to venture to Birmingham to have a look at all models, will also check out the new milo which comes out next week.I was put of the rive mainly for the price but now the rx25 under £600 they have got my attention again,i would think that the 25mm legs are very stable and 36mm a bit ott and also more costly with attachments etc,i want my next box to last for a while so will wheigh it all up,will have to check out seats on the rive as have sat on the heal cusion and found it uncomfy.Your thoughts on this would be great although its been talked over again and again.

Bacsey I’ve got a Rive ST D36 which is the dogs , but I would seriously advise you have a look at the new Colmics as they look a class bit of kit, best descibed as a mix between a Rive & Milo.

Personally I’d opt for a Matchbox but the Brillo boxes are pretty good too.

Sumo i agree the colmic boxes look the nutts,i had a look at some in Davis Angling on friday, they are huge which is a shame and the draws are a little tacky but i must admit they do look the dogs.~think

easily the best boxes on the market but they do weigh a fair bit,,also quite bulky too which is why i had to sell mine!!!!
the enemy wasnt impressed when i was taking all the paint off the walls and door frames in the house!!!!

Fox msb box the best and you only have to see the number of named anglers who have them

Brilo all the way for me, prefer it to the Milo, Rive, Daiwa and Matchbox’s i’ve had. I can take as many drawers and trays as i want, its easy to carry, sturdy and comfy.

Bacsey, i had the same problem as you until a month ago. The Fox MSB Euro 1 box won hands down once i got the main front runners together in a good tackle shop. It light but stable, Very good sliding footplate and extendable legs. Good quality draws that give plenty of space for tackle items. At £400 and only £50-£65 for extra draws. It does not break the bank. Also looks very good on the bank although im not a tackle tart. Have a good look and im sure you will be impressed.

Cheers guys,i wil look at a few before i make up my mind, have seen the fox and although put together well its not mutch to look at, so maybe i am a tackle tart and its just my opinion but i do want it to look nice as well as good build quality.
