I’m in the market for a new pair of match carp commercial keep nets (Xmas coming up and all; got to get the list updated for Santa!)
What’s recommended for good quality, quick dry and good angle lock mechanism that won’t break…..)
        Thanks

I can recommend the MAP Commercial carp nets. Bought a pair of them in March, well made & the bottom 4 rings are external offering protection to the corners of the net from wear and tear.

If your not a tackle tart wanting the fancy Garbolino or Diawa nets, look on ebay you can get Dinsmore 3m carp nets 19.99 post free, there well made and terrific value for money, not as eyecatching as the 80 quid keepnets but just as practical.

Agree with Ant Waters, I have Rive nets while being ok, very expensive and will need replacing soon after only 2 and a bit years! Dinsmore ones very practical, and cheap, so if they only last a year ( but will probably last a lot longer ), it wont be bank breaking to replace them, superb value for money.

I got two frenzee nets with stink bags and a landing nets for 80 quid at a tackle show. Very good nets, shame I don’t put many fish in them!

Have a look at the Fox Carp Match keepnets being knocked out by Climax. Great nets at greatly reduced prices.

Agree with Ant the Dinsmores have lasted well over 6 years and the only reason I need to change one is I caught the top ring on a fishery platform fitting and it sliced a slit in it.

The material has been the best carp friendly one I’ve seen used. The others with larger holes very often snag fish on the dorsal fin and leave them hanging. Not good for the fish and not good for the net.

This is not one of those buy cheap pay dear situations, but then you don’t have all those pretty graphics to pay for on the top ring.
