~clap Spent a couple of days at the start of the week in Manchester city centre,( went to the Kiss concert at MEN )had a great time visiting the retail quarter (so did the Mrs)and was quite humbled by the hospitality,courtesy and politeness shown to us by everyone we came into contact with, even down to the sweeper up guy we asked for directions in the arndale centre. We stayed in the travelodge at the side of Blackfriars bridge,just wondered what is the name of the fishy lookin river that runs alongside. Have to admit used to have a mental picture of Manchester with “Shameless” in mind, and have to concede you have a city centre and workforce to be rightly proud of ,thank you Manchester.~clap ~clap ~clap
