iowaI am about to start planning my ‘con the wife’ post Christamas trip to the East coast, Kessingland, Southwold etc, and have no idea of best tides to fish 27th,28th, 29th of December, sort of pilgramage I have made for the lasr few years, so which day has the best tides……
(open to be persuaded to fish the Bristol channel or even Wales to ring the changes) -

JackyboyIowa, you can work something out of this:
http://www.folkestoneharbour.com/tides/Tide_Plotter_Table_dec_07.htm
The 22th is a good tide for me! We will be in full summer, Rum + fishing. Would probably go fishing at 6 o’clock start fly fishing off the mangroves and move down to the beach to cast some poppers. By the 29th I would have landed 100’s of fish! LOL

iowaSo we need to look at tides for 28th 29th Southwold (nice comfortable pier with cafes toilets etc) Pakefield ( heaving with folk this year, couldn’t get on it on the 29th)
Kessingland – me and Jimmy got last two spots on beach when failed to fish Pakefield) need to fish about Eight bodies and enough room for Bobs food – Take your pick…..
p.s. would consider car share and costs of fuel etc if anyone driving past… -
