cleaning a Rive

My RIve is looking really tatty. ive got the normal silver alu trays and theyre badly coroded and stained. Im sure salt in groundbait does some of the damage. Anyone found a way of cleaning them ?

Thinking of swapping it for the Matrix box so may need to sell.

Whatever you do don’t use ‘Brasso’ as I tried it on one of my old trays and all it did was move the dirt etc!!! into the small tray groves which took blooming ages to remove with an old toothbrush and good old elbow grease,

Wire wool soap filled Brillo pads and warm water clean ally very well make it look new

Autosol metal polish will have it clean.

My advice is get the Matrix box!!! I have had one for the past two months and it’s absolutely superb 🙂 🙂 🙂
