Third round of the Cob House Winter was held on Sunday – another cold start but clear skies meant there would be some sun to put some warmth in the air.
Making it 3 wins out of 3 Steve Ford (Misfits) took the top individual spot drawing the same peg as last week on Laugherne 23 and made no mistakes putting 129-8-0 on the scales. Coming second from Laugherne again was Steve Owen putting 114lb on the scales – both catches made up of carp caught on the long pole.
This left Darren Fisher (Old Ghost) to take the Laugherne Island section prize by default. Winning Wyatts pool was Kurtis Tranter (MAP/Baitech) with 91lb, taking Laurel Pool was Pete Bailey (Old Ghost) with 74-12-0 and the Oak winner was Chris Cameron (Misfits) with 77-14-0 (pipping me into second place!!!)

1 – MAP/Baitech – 12pts
2 – Misfits – 13pts
3 – Nomads – 16pts
