      TF_MICK THE BOOKIE

~shh ~shh .Result of our match on Walters lake on the 12th June…..32 fished.

        1st….Chris Davis..145lb 0oz..peg 4 Blue section
        2nd….Derek Lewis..106lb 12oz.peg 1 Red section.
        3rd….R.Lucas……60lb 0oz..peg 4 White section.

The lake looked perfect, but as you can see the under stregnth “Cockney side”(only 12 turned up)got it rammed upem. The top 3 all fished up in the water, and the other weights dropped into the 40-50lbs.In fact there were a few Dnw.
Our 3 best Weights were Tony Yanni 47lb,Tony Kent 38lb,and myself a measley 28lbs.The other lads put back in to get back for the Footie. They neednt have rushed cause there was a major accident on the M4 which was closed. We all got diverted round the houses, and with a million other poor buggers had to listen to most of the game stuck in traffic.
All in all you could say a bit of a disaster for the brave boys who turned up.But the locals must have been laughing their cods off as they spent our money in the bars whilst watching the game.
I would like to thank our boys for their support, and the locals of course for making our day so memorable.I leave you on a good note though lads….I did manage to take another easy £20 off my old mucker HERBIE….”Who loves you baby”….See you soon mate.
        p.s Big thanks for Martin for all his help.Your a star fella….MTB. ~sick ~sick ~sick ~sick

Yes Herbie, its a big shame when you try and arrange matches for anglers who appear to be crying out for new venues to try.Never mind mate we do appreciate what you have done, and i for one would like to thank you for all your effort.Twas a good day when i met you on the Thames Champs…..See you there again this year,if not before….Take care pal…Mick.
P.S I reversed into Tony Kents car leaving the car park…Done a Grands worth of damage to mine…The parts are so expensive mate…lol.

you.d be hard pushed to do 10 bobs worth of damage to yours mick~clap what makes me laugh is on talk angling they have a south west section with hundreds of posts asking for a getogether and the only bloke to attend was from thane near reading ( nice lad though for a scouse) most are just yap yap yap. they put posts on these sites just to join in the rapoire with no intention of ever supporting the site physicly.never mind mate see you at the thames champs where you will catch a ruff and i will blank ( again) and lose yet another score. mick dont buy a ticket i will pay for yours out of your winnings~shh ~shh ~sick

Thanks to all,i had a good day even though it was crap for me,in my section of six only two of us caught fish. Thanks to “Fat Malc” and his phone call to advise us to leave the motorway,I was home by 7.20,i had to go nearly into Southhampton to get on the M3,so i dont know what MTB was doing.must of stopped in a layby to have a kip,he did have a night of passion the night before though.Well done Herbi and his crunchers, mind you we where outnumbered three to one,no sour grapes there then.It was nice to meet you Simon.all the best hope we can have a meet up somewhere next year.~clap ~clap

It was a memorable day out as usual. When mick and herbie are involved it always is.
I also got caught in the jam M4 and went home via Oxford and the M40.
Roll on the lower Thames champs ………..
