        REPORT

MOLANDS Fishing pretty well all the way round the pool with mixed nets of skimmers, F1’s, crucians, tench and the odd carp. Paste or pellet fished down the near margin or method /pellet feeder fished up to the island or down the shelf, three or four metres from the island. Pleasure anglers have enjoyed the best of the action especially in the evenings with match weights to over 60lb caught this week. Best pegs are 2, 8 – 12, 19, 27 – 35, 43 – 46 and 50, 54 and 60.

GEARYS In good form with some decent carp being caught at the moment with fish to 18lb caught in matches this week. The most productive methods this week have been the method feeder with pellet or meat, paste down the edge and pellet waggler. The northerly winds have pushed the bulk of the fish into the high bank and down into the bottom bay with pegs 7 – 15, 19 and 31 – 37 the best area at the moment.

LITTLE GEARYS In excellent form at the moment with every peg capable of producing nets to over 50lb in matches and pleasure anglers have reported catches of carp and F1’s to over 100lb. Method feeder out to the island or paste/pellet down the near margin have been the best tactics with F1’s.carp, skimmers, crucians and quality roach being caught all around the pool.

GRATUITIES Carp to 4lb and tench to 5lb have been the most predominant species at the moment with pleasure catches to over 80lb reported this week. Pole fished pellet or meat or feeder fished to the middle island have accounted for the better catches. Best pegs are 1- 3, 8 and 15 and 16.

ANNIVERSARIES Good nets of tench in the 2 – 4lb range are coming out along with plenty of rudd, roach, skimmers and crucians. Float fished pellet, paste or meat fished up to the island has been the best approach.

        SIBLINGS Fishing very well, particul
