Can anyone shed any light on how its been fishing and best pegs,is the weed still a problem????. have a club match end of august.

it is unfishable, they had a machine on it to get the weed out but their is just too much, all this summers big matches have been cancelled, i heard the carp boys were wading out making a hole in the weed and dropping bait and rig in, god knows how they would get a fish in if they got one?

I drew a swim last year which had been “dredged” by a carper,the weed is incredibly fragile almost like silk strands,i had no trouble getting the bream in,as long as you got em on top rapido.

would of been nice to fish for a few decent bream for a change, instead of those carp hanging them selves every week. oh well phone
call to cancel the match tommorow.~sick
