Cornish mackerel?

Coming down to Cornwall next week on holiday, and weather permitting (and the wife of course!), hoping to get in a couple of sessions. Are there any locals who can tell me if the mackerel are still in and if so where’s best? If not have you got any other suggestions worth a try? Staying in Bodmin so central to both coasts.

I was down in Padstow the week before last and there was no shortage of em then.

Forgot to mention I tried some Blueys whilst down there. Difficult to say if its any good cos it was almost impossible to keep it on the hook, but the gulls were not keen…. not and good sign if a sh*tehawk wont eat it.

Did you try baiting up with 2lbs of stainless steel that also works really well in ‘another country’
