How did it fish yesterday, where were the weight’s from?

hi ye mate the weights were peg19 pool 1 87lb peg 14 96lb peg 12 50lb peg 7 61lb peg 4 46lb peg 1 69lb pool 3 peg 80 had 20lb peg 70 63lb not sure about the rest on pool 3 but i think they had 30lb ish pool 4 peg 114 had 46lb i have had 50lb the 1st 3hours then i was biteless the last 3 hours was gutted cos was on for 100lb plus then nowt

Did you go on Drumble again or go on the pool’s?
Bet you was gutted after starting like that, what do you think happened?

i went on the pools mate and ye i was gutted i fished tip for an hour for 2 fish then switched to long pole and caught instanly and from then on i caught steady for the next 2 hours then come 2 oclock bang nothing chucked tip again nowt dropped short on pole then back out long still nothing opened up a couple of more lines still nowt another thing that i noticed was the fish i was catching were very small as they were sunday usally 20 mirrors on pool 1/3/4/ give you 70lb plus is it me or have the fish shrunk had 2 fish round 5lb and rest of them were lb and a half

Dont know what you fed but i think crushed pellet atract’s a smaller stamp of carp & F1’s. On pole & in feeder.

its not what i have fed matey i am stating i have fished pools for a while now mate i have fished pellet/paste and meat also i was 1 of the 1st people to fish the meat feeder what you have been doin on your last few matches on the also have chucked the tip under arm on me pole line which was a deadly method last year when we had the winds but the last 2 matches i have fished on the pools i have caught small carp last year if you caught 20 mirrors on most of the pools wether it be 1/3/4/5/ or 6 you were gauranteed to weigh 70lb plus so whats happened the fish gone on a diet all of a sudden also if you caught 30 plus mirrors you always weighed 100lb plus ps the only thing crushed pellet is good for is making paste out of

PH love the comment under your name. Bet it’s great supporting an undeafeated team. 🙂 Maybe there has been some fish movement that we do not know about on the pools as I have also noticed more small fish showing of late. However meat at five still seems to sort out the “proper lads” if you are lucky enough to draw on them. The pools have been fishing very strange all year and to me it’s almost like there is not enough fish in at times. However the strangest thing is how one pool performs well one week and another the next. Guess if we knew the answers it would be boring but something is certainly not quite right to me.

PH76 are the fish you’ve been catching similar to the ones that were in Drumble 😉

yes also i no someone that was fishing drumble on tues and they caught only 3 carp and lots of barbel which i find a bit strange as the place is solid.

How’s it fished this weekend anyone?

Only about 20 fished todays open(about 20 or the regulars fished the first round of the winter league).
The best I heard was 78lb peg 74 pool 3,70lb peg 80 (I think) pool 3 Then 66lb was best on pool 4.

3 Carl Lane 66lb pool4

4 James Delcluet 55lb pool5

5 Me 53lb pool4

6 Warren Heath 51lb pool4

Plus several weights of between 35 and 50lb. Fished slightly better than of late and in flat calm sunny conditions.

got it now neil, for some reason if i go in through the members area and click on “match angler” it still comes up with August and July. but your right i went in through the home page and it worked. cheers
