AnonymousJeff Moors is the man you need to speak to regarding anything cudmore mate, knows his stuff on there. Micro’s with 4mm or 6mm over the top will catch you plenty on there although im sure jeff will go into more detail for you

Jeff MoorsNormal tactics on suez;feed only one swim accross with soaked micros, fish 4m expander on hook, two thirds across, loose feed casters sparingly and fish on the deck unless you start getting liners or fish show themselve e.g swirls, then up the feed and try to catch them shallow, feed micros again on inside lines and fish 4m or 6m expanders or paste on same rig usually 0.12 to 16s 911.Start across with very small pot and feed regulary,if it starts to dry up start another swim again with small pot ,it usually takes about three feeds to start getting bites on a new swim. Are you on the open mate.

AnonymousGive cudmore a phone call and ask which lake your match is on. Once you have been told which lake you are fishing your match on. Let us all know so that we can help and so that us match lads know which lakes we are on, on Saturday!

AnonymousNo method is totally dominating the new pools at the moment. You can catch on meat, corn, pellet or paste on the deck so fish baits to your strengths. There are a lot of fish to be caught at 12-14 meters but start at 6 meters and see if the fish will feed there as on some pegs the fish will settle on this line. Also feed down the sides of the reeds for the last hour and to catch the odd quick fish when you see then in the sides swirling. You seem to catch a few fish up in the water but it is very difficult to catch more than a hand full of carp before they become very difficult to catch high up in the water. The carp average 3lbs but go upto 7lb on most of the pools. Both Tuesday matches where won on Paste fished over corn with the odd fish caught on corn but plenty of fish caught on all the above baits although it fished harder than normal.

AnonymousPaste over corn is a new one on me too, markm but that was what the lad used to win both Tuesday opens and his dad was second in the evening match doing the same thing. Maybe something in it but this year i have not seen any method that has been consistently dominent. A bait or feed seems to work best on one day then switch the following day to something completly different.
