Yeah, I fancy Suez myself, I believe they restocked it a few weeks ago.

yeah , i believe its crushed pellet and expander across , and maggot down the middle , a lot of skimmers and bream and F1, tried to sort an ice breaker out today in case its needed,but couldnt be bothered in the end.

I think a lot of pegs are broken. If you’re near me you can borrow mine if needed. Look for a Rochdale Angling Centre coat, lol

im there tomorrow, be very careful what you feed, the last few match’s on suez have been won by feeding nothing at all!! Red maggot or bread punch fished in about 3 ft of water over towards reeds, just keep searching along the reeds, you will get liners if there is any number of fish in your peg, personally i like to feed about 4 maggots & fish it out, keep lifting & dropping the rig, 4×10 rig .8 hook length & 20’s fine wire hook, your after f1’s that average just under 2lb.
Maggot in track works later on in match, feed about 15 to 20 maggots every half hr, they can turn up really late on this line so never give up.
Brewsters similar but a few more skimmers coming out, Arena & pool 1 havnt been fished for wks so its anybodies guess how they will fish.

How did you get on lads? i drew arena 32 & knew it was going to be hard, when i arrived at the fishery the aerator was on but they turned it before the match started, i had 5 roach & 3 perch on pole n maggot, was winning lake until 5 mins to go when my mate caught a 2 lb skimmer!!!!!!! Bar steward!!!

All on Suez, we had to break 4 inches of ice.

I made my mind up at the start only to break half way and fish a worm and joker match when i saw how thick the ice was,plus i heard that Kieron Rich drew peg 4 on suez on sat and only had 1 bite all day,at least i had about a dozen bites,lol~clap

I will have to get on Partridge when it thaws a out a bit more,anyway nice to meet you mate~clap

Johnny,if you knew me i would sell my mother to avoid a blank,lol(well nearly)~shh

I did work extremly hard all match,lifting and dropping and dragging my Bloodworm or Joker bait around the swim,(evan a pinkie didnt fetch me a bite?) but unfortunatly i couldnt tempt a skimmer or F`1 to my bait,unlike my superstar team mate Lee Murphy on peg 2 who had 1 bite and and one F`1 for 1 lb odd.

Do you think to yourself somtimes that you have tried too hard to get a bite and you are not rewarded for your efforts~think ~think.Or should i be happy to beat either side of me on the day,lol@ Johnny.

It does my head in sometimes,lol.
especially when you hear a couple of foul hooked carp can frame in the match.
GGGGRRRR. but thats fishing i suppose~think.
