I’ve had one there ok but pay the extra £20 and get a TDR miles better IMO.

I have a pair, bought them before they brought out the double handled TDR.
Brilliant reeels and as good as the TDR IMHO
              Front drag is awesome!!

Sorry mate but they ain’t a patch a the TDR’S the TDR is so much smoother. The TDR is the upgrade on the TD, Darlo-toe go and have a feel of both and see which suites you. You’ll be able to see the difference, IMO of course.

They have the same gears and bearing so can’t be any smoother.
£46 more expensive too for the double handle so to answer Darlo-toes question yes they are very good value for the money!

After years if shimanos I have now got a TDR 2508 and a TDX 3012D. both superb IMO. Bit pricey though………..

£46 more? You can get them for £105 on ebay. I’ve seen them go for £99.

We’ll have to agree to disagree then mate because i honestly think they are not as good as the TDR’s. I’ve owned both and there is a difference.

The double handle version is much more expensive not worth the extra imo. yep agree to disagree 🙂

Sorry mate but the double handle versions are not more expensive, i know because i got mine at them prices. Look around and you will get them at them prices. Do the research and you will find that out.

I’ve also switched to the TDRs and can’t fault them. IMO the best match reels on the market.
