Daiwa Tourney Pro & Daiwa G8 Section Compatibility

As these 2 poles are built on the same mandrel does that mean that the sections on each pole fit the other all the way throughout the pole or is it only to a certain point- now there’s a question for the daiwa ‘Anoraks’!!

Yes, they are fully interchangeable.

Mike, many thanks for the prompt response, hope I didn’t offend you too much with the ‘anorak’ reference !!- I am looking into buying a second G8 for some spare kits and will probably be selling off a fair few sections at around half the normal spare RRP- just wanted to make sure that they could be used as a cheaper alternative replacement to buying tourney pro sections- watch this space- all will be revealed!!- thanks again- Martin.

how does the strength compare? i have a g8 and have a tourney pro on order? was going to use the g8 for much heavier work, is the g8 considerably stronger?
