Sea fishing takes centre stage on Tight Lines this week and Keith’s guest will be Dave Lewis. As a journalist, consultant and vastly experienced angler both home and abroad, he’ll have plenty of advice to help you enjoy the sport around our shoreline.

There’s shark fishing action from a trip that Keith and Dave recently enjoyed together out of Milford Haven in Wales. Andrew Allsop, amongst the finest skippers in the country, led them to some superb sport with the sea’s ultimate predators.
You can also see something of a Tight Lines rarity! Last week Nigel Botherway spent a session on the beautiful Lower Itchen Fishery near Southampton in search of a salmon and, to cap off a wonderful day, he finally landed his elusive quarry.
Keith will also have his regular look at the prospects in store for all anglers at the weekend. In Fishery Focus he’ll have useful information on the best baits and tactics to use at a variety of typical venues to suit everyone, and the weather conditions you’ll face.
Next week on Tight Lines Keith’s will be joined by Peter Gathercole, a game angler, fly dresser and photographer of high repute. They’ll be discussing all aspects of the sport, in particular the application and construction of various fly patterns.
