Richie_RJust finished the journey back to Dorset on rather a high! Many thanks to Alibongo for his pointers on a venue somewhat alien to us and congratulations to Dorking who proved their class once more. But most importantly, well done the Dorset Raiders – Div 1 at last!

TF_Irk the puristsWell,
Congrats to my mate Mick Topps on becoming Individual champ… He drew the mouth of the Till and filled it in with Choppie and caster… A kilo and a half went in… 7 kilo of hungry Tench later he was crowned Champion….
Team wise we had a curates egg of a day, with litle practice (non for many) we missed out on div 1 by a point a man…. But hey… Division 2 is on our home water next year…. Bring it on!!
Thanks to Ali for the info…
Richie_R, did you do that of no practice? Awesome if you did….

TF_AlibongoParticipantnot a problem rich and irk just glad the info helped. a very well done to Dorkin an awesome team, well out of order who ever was booing at the results. im not playing on the huntspill next year! could be the end of nationals for me!
Just to jar everyone off i fished the trent yesterday 38lb won it i was 2nd with 23lb of chub and 15lb of roach was 3rd. The super Ian Snowden was at collingham and he won with 55lb of barbel 20lb was 11th out of 50 just imagion how good that national could have been!
mind you i think the canals fished ok for most.

TF_Irk the puristsFully concur with Ali… Why boo what was a truely awesome performance, Anglers are deffo thier own worst enemies…
Why the reluctance Ali? The Huntspill seems a fair venue…
Ebbo,
Some of the weights were cr*p but… Many of the anglers seem to have lost the ability to fish canals and that makes things look a whole lot worse than they really were..
