          You have 2 holes in the side of your pole the elastic comes out 1 and in the other.. then you can tighten yor elastic up on the bung and still have a puller kit…

            ok got ya! does the elastic still work correctly?
            cause the set up is re-directin the elastic,out then back in the pole.

                  Browning do the same with some of their top kits so you can still use a winder bung.
                  I thought I may do the same on my pole as I use a Shimano Beastmaster which has two reinforced rings on the second section plus one for their elastigate system which I never used.
