Season This is the 40th fishing season at Draycote Water and the Opening Day is Wednesday 25th March.
Lodge Opening Pre Season – The Fishing Lodge will be open each day 10.00 – 15.00hrs for pre – season sales of permits, rod licences and fishing tackle from Saturday 20th March.
Season Opening Hours – The Fishery opens each day at 07.30hrs. Closing times are posted in the Lodge.
Stocking Programme – During 2009 we will introduce 46,000 rainbow trout with average weights from 1.5lbs to over 10lbs each. The various sizes of fish will be blended and stocked twice every week from April through to October.

Season Record Catches of 2008 –
Saturday 12th April Mr Rod Wilson of Leicester caught the heaviest eight fish bag limit weighing 40lbs 3ozs.
Monday 19th May Mr Bob Wallinger of Sharnford, Leicester took the year’s heaviest brown at 9lbs 9ozs.
Saturday 13th September Mr Chris Jones of Cynwyd, Denbighshire boated the best rainbow of the season at 14lbs 9ozs.
