Gonna give dungie o go on the 16th I think if not too hungover. I can make my way from Hythe through Dymchurch to Coast Drive then at Battery road turn off, can you drive down Dungeness road to get a little closer to the beach or is it a 2 mile schlepp across the shingle?

go to the fishmongers acrossthe road from the pilot pub and get a key for the gate to the point.Park and fish.

you must be a member of dungy sea ang association to get a key to the point, you can join at seagull tackle, only costs a fiver. helps pay for beach cleaner etc. you can then sign key out from the fish shop or seagull.

Good info thanks guys, I will give it a try, silly question wheres seagull tackle and is it open on Sunday?

seagull tackle is in greatstone, from hythe go along the coast road, go to new romney, urn left at lights twds grt stone and littlestone, turn right at the sea front, keep going twds dungeness, seagull is on the right bout a mile or so along the road.
