Nice to know our licence money is being well spent:

It’s becoming increasingly apparent that this bunch of clowns and the idiots in charge of the water authorities are hell-bent on destroying rivers as fisheries of the future.

How about if you were to stand on it Rob? That would sort it out mate!!!! 😮
How are you? Been on the Trent?
I did Stourport last weekend – 1 Roach and 21lb of Perch, plus a big fat gypsy wedding, a floatilla of boats that included Mickey, Donald, Pluto, Snow White, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and a Kareoke outside the Angle Boozer – It was Carnival Day! Packed up at 3 and joined the party instead!

            Cheeky sod.
At least I’d be able to get on it – without the aid of a forklift!
Anyhow, the response on here confirms most people’s idea of “angling” is dangling a pole over a stinking mud hole, should have known really.

Trent’s been patchy but had some quality roach and dace on tare and wgeat last two weeks.
The projected rainfall will give it a good flush that it needs at the moment.

Bit early for Stourport ain’t it?
Never used to go ’til we’d had a frost.

Unlike the current one which seems to think that clearer rivers and “improved” water quality are desirable.

he he he! Yes, it is early for the Roach, but we have had good days on hemp and Tares at this time of year previously. On that day we went for the Perch as there has been lots coming out.
As for the Otter’s, Stourport is the only place that i have seen one in the wild, which was about 3 years ago.
