I have used double prestons all last year, i thought it was good for small carp and silvers but just didnt suit me when i was targeting bigger carp. This is just personnel preference thou. I was think about swappin my double 8 6 and 5 for preston hollow but keeping my double 4 for silver and f1 shallow. They have 11,13,15,17,19. i was wondering what people thought about it and what fish bracket (size) the elastic suited.

        cheers

I comfortably use 13h this time of year for fish up to about 7lb. In the summer I use the 15h for that sort of work apart from margin fishing where I tend to use purple Hydro, although I’m sure the 17h would be similar.

Looking at it double 5 would probably be swapped for 9h, the double 6 for either 11 or 13h and the double 8 for 15h.

White hydro for small carp up to 1lb
Black hydro for carp from 1lb up to 7lb
Red hydro for 7lb+ carp, bagging, or when fishing for 2lb+ carp on the deck in deep water
