elasticated chord snapped korum day shelter!

HI has anyone else suffered this problem with there Korum day shelter? I have had the shelter for a good few years but It only gets an outing on average about 3 times a year when I am on holiday when I put the thing up for the duration of my trip either a full week or a long weekend.
So although I would say its been lightly used I accept that the wear and tear experienced Is more down to its age than frequent usage.
Can anyone point me In the right direction with regard to replacing the said chord I have purchased 10 meters of chord off E bay cheaply, but It looks like a difficult task to replace the chord.

Sorted the problem now thanks guys guess this is not as common a problem as I thought , needs a little thought and some trial and error but if anyone needs help I would of course do my best to help them out. 😀
