Best Patterns
black or olive buzzer, small damsel, diawl bach, tequila blob/booby, white/green or black/green lures.
A superb week for boat anglers using buzzer imitations either straight lined, washing line or with a bung.
Good bags were taken all over the lake with boats well spread on most days.
Anglers have mainly been using assorted variations of black buzzers although over the last three days there have been big hatches of olive buzzers.
Bank anglers have been more dependant on weather conditions with good catches on cloudy days or when there is not too much wind.
The evening rise is happening most nights especially along the lodge bank after 7.30pm with fish coming up to hatching and adult midges. Not easy fishing but great fun.
