The lake has been fishing well with buzzer hatches in full swing and olives starting to hatch off the latest method is suspender buzzers or dry flies to catch. On Sunday a ten and a quarter pound Rainbow was caught by Sean Roe from Kettering as part of a seven fish catch and release morning session so orange blobs in this case do seem to do well on daphnia feeders along the road bank. Those that fished last week in poor weather conditions did well.
