149 anglers caught 966 fish of which 677 were returned.

        Best Fish

9lb 0oz John Lashbrooke, Corby, yellow buzzer
7lb 6oz George Brock, Corby, black buzzer

6lb 6oz Dan Smith, Bozeat, black buzzer
5lb 14oz Mr Baker, Glatton, red buzzer, boat

        Best Areas
Bank – Most areas holding fish now
Boat – Most areas fishing well

        Best Patterns
black buzzer, diawl bach, damsel, cruncher, red or yellow apps, small black/green or white/green lures

Since last Thursday the fish have really switched onto buzzers. Numerous double figure bags from the boats boosted the rod average. Bank fishing still good unless it was flat calm or very bright.
Plenty of the big fish continue to be caught by bank anglers.
The best method from the boat is a team of three buzzers or a buzzer on the point, diawl bach in the middle, cruncher on the top dropper.
For short periods when conditions allow there are fish rising with shipmans, cdc buzzers and hoppers scoring well.
There are a wide size range of buzzers hatching so anglers are using size 10, 12 and 14 imitations. The majority are black with a few grey and ginger.
