The beginning of the week fished well but since Thursday 9th the hot weather has made things challenging. A few fish are feeding on adult damsels and nymphs but many others are not feeding during the day.
A few cooler days will see Elinor back on form. August is usually the hardest month. Bank anglers are doing well if they catch two fish during the day. Boat anglers have done well if they manage four.
