Boat – east arm, down middle

A very hot week really slowed down catches, especially from the bank. Its the first time this season that the rod average has dropped below two. However it seems like only a temporary blip as since Sunday 29th the fishing from bank and boat has greatly improved coinciding with cooler conditions.
Bank anglers are doing well on dries and washing line. Boat anglers are catching well down the middle with an intermediate or Di3 line with damsel or white/green fritz lures. Buzzers on a long leader and floating line are also taking fish from the boats.
Fish are rising throughout the day feeding on damsels, corixa and on damp days, daddies.
Many of the fish taken are between 2 – 3lb 8oz.
